YIN

The art of presence

The practice of the courageous

The encounter with oneself

Yin Yoga is a style of yoga
that focuses on deep stretching
combined with conscious breathing.

Each posture is held for 3 to 5 minutes,
to relax the body profoundly
and allow energy to flow freely.

Yin is not
a slow pause between two flows.
It’s not soft.
Not always.

Yin is
everything we avoid.
Everything we resist.
And that comes back to find us
when we finally stop.

Yin is
the art of presence.
The encounter with what
asks to be healed.

Prepare yourself for a journey,
slow down,
let go,
and release what no longer belongs to you.

And sometimes, we cry.
We laugh.
We sigh.
We breathe,
for the first time
in a long while.

Not to perform.
But to come home to ourselves.
